Angry Audio Rebel Microphone Processor
The Angry Audio Rebel is a microphone processor designed for the populair Electro-Voice microphone models, RE20, RE27 and RE320 microphones. The developed DSP algorithms enhance the unique characteristics of EV microphones.
The high-quality microphone preamplifier offers low distortion, ample headroom and a noise level only 1.5dB higher than the theoretical minimum. With the Room Control feature you can choose the level of ambient sounds added to the signal.
The processor's compressor is adjustable, ranging from a "natural" setting to a "massive" one. It also includes a de-esser to reduce sibilance and a finely-tuned high-pass filter to eliminate rumble and background noise while preserving the subtleties of the voice. Additionally, a "sparkle" switch has been added to introduce brightness to the sound.
