Artel's Quarra range of IP PTP switches is designed for Carrier Class applications where accurate timing and control is required; providing the industrys most accurate PTPv2 timing & synchronization for nanosecond accurate timing.

These switches are aimed at the professional markets of Audio/Video Broadcast, Defense & Security, Finance, Utilities, Telecom, and Enterprise IT; making them perfect for use in a radio studio environment.

The Quarra 10G features 24 RJ45 ports (1Gb/s) and 2 SFP+ ports (10Gb/s) that support PTPv2. A 1pps external reference input from GPS is included as standard. The Quarra switches support SMPTE Standards-based Timing ST 2110-10 and ST 2059-2 and are RAVENNA, Dante, and Livewire+/AES67 approved. The Quarra switches also support IGMP v2/3, QoS, EPS and ERPS protection switching, VLAN, network OAM, and boundary and transparent clocking.

Full management of the Quarra 10G is possible using the web GUI or command line interface, allowing quick and simple configuration.

The Quarra 10G is a 1RU rackmount unit with dual power supplies.
