C-LEVEL can be used as a pre-processor when placed between the mixing console and OTA (over the air) processor. The consistent output makes sure to keep your OTA processor operating at its sweetspot. If your OTA processor is at the transmitter site, having C-LEVEL on the studio side of your STL (studio transmitter link) will protect your STL from overload. This has been tested with various OTA processors, creating fantastic results. For example, when used with an Omnia-VOLT, the result is comparable to high-end processors such as an Omnia.11. Of course it could also be paired with Omnia.11 instead to create an unbelievable result.Radio engineers know how hard it is to get the processing to sound right. Tweak some settings, get in the car, listen a bit, repeat. It can take hours, if not days to tune a processor to sound right. And you really need to be an expert to get the most out of these complex devices. Chameleons expert system automates that process by listening to the incoming audio and constantly adjusting its parameters to optimize for the content. Now your engineer might actually enjoy a day off now and then.
