Linear Acoustic LA-5291 is a 1RU encoder and transcoder for live Dolby Atmos workflows. The LA-5291 can decode Dolby E and ED2 to PCM, transcode Dolby E and ED2 to Dolby Digital Plus / Dolby Digital Plus Atmos, and encode PCM or PCM with PMD to Dolby Digital Plus / Dolby Digital Plus Atmos.

I/O includes 3 Gb/s SDI, AES-3, and AES-67 for SMTPE 2110 workflows. Dual auto-ranging internal power supplies provide redundancy and worldwide compatibility.
Options include: Quad-Link 3 Gb/s SDI card, MADI I/O card.
