The Z/IPStream R/20 is the latest generation of streaming audio hardware in the Z/IPStream family. The R/20 can simultaneously process and encode between two and eight channels in a compact 1RU chassis. The R/20 base unit includes two stereo program inputs with 3-band Omnia processing and supports popular encoding formats such as MP3, AAC-LC, HE-AAC, HE-AAC v2 and xHE-AAC.

Supported streaming platforms include Triton Digital, ICEcast, SHOUTcast, SHOUTcast v2, Adobe Media Server, Adobe RTMP, RTP streams, LimeLight, Akamai and Wowza.

The R/20 can be expanded by adding additional program inputs. Powerful processing options include Omnia Forza and Omnia.9, Kantar or Nielsen watermarking and Déjà Vu 5.1 upmixing.

A browser-based UI provides Z/IPStream R/20 configuration and remote management. AES/EBU and Livewire I/O are standard. Dual redundant auto-ranging power supplies are rated 90-132/187-264 VAC, 50Hz/60Hz. 100 watts. Rack mounted, 1RU; 1.75 "H x 19 "W x 15.5 "D
