This patented, real-time upmix method preserves the original production integrity of stereo sources and creates discrete surround sound that can be decoded by a wide range of streaming players that support the MPEG surround format. This process uses only slightly more data than standard mono or stereo streams and is fully backward compatible with stereo playback systems.
